Four Stages of Air Cooled Condenser Production

The air cooled condenser production is mainly divided into four stages: raw material preparation, core component processing, overall assembly, and finished product inspection. The key points are as follows:

1. Raw Material Selection and Pre-treatment:

The core material is determined based on the application scenario:

Common tube bundle materials: carbon steel (low-cost general-purpose scenarios), stainless steel (corrosion-resistant chemical scenarios), copper/aluminum foil (improving heat exchange efficiency in air conditioning scenarios);

Frames and protective plates are generally made of carbon steel with spraying or galvanizing to improve rust resistance;

Fines are mostly made of aluminum, combined with steel tubes through winding and sleeve processes to increase the heat exchange area.

2. Core Component Processing:

Tube bundle processing: This is the key process that determines heat exchange performance:

Steel tube straightening → rust removal → fin insertion (aluminum fins are inserted one by one onto the steel tube) → tube expansion (ensuring a tight fit between the fins and the steel tube to guarantee heat exchange efficiency) → welding of tube box/end caps to ensure sealing;

High-end products will use a microchannel tube bundle integrated molding process, which improves heat exchange efficiency by more than 15% compared to traditional finned tubes.

Fan and frame processing: Cut and weld the frame according to the design dimensions, install the fan motor base, and select axial or centrifugal fans according to requirements.

3. Overall Assembly:

Hoist and secure the pre-fabricated tube bundle onto the frame, connecting the fan and transmission mechanism;

Install accessories such as the air duct and louvers (adjustable models);

Connect piping and electrical circuits to complete the overall assembly.

4. Finished Product Inspection:

Two core tests must be completed before shipment:

Water pressure/air tightness test: Inspect the sealing of the tube bundle welds and tube box to ensure no leakage;

Performance test: Test fan speed, air pressure, and overall heat transfer coefficient to confirm compliance with design requirements;

Apply anti-corrosion paint to the surface, package and prepare for shipment. Most manufacturers support non-standard customization upon request.
