Choosing the right vortex air cooler revolves around three core dimensions: application scenario matching, parameter adaptation, and environmental adaptability. Below are the selection criteria and key points for different scenarios:

1. First, clarify the core requirements: Determine the application scenario matching direction

Different scenarios have significantly different requirements for temperature drop and cooling volume. Determining the scenario first can quickly narrow down the selection range: Machining tool cooling: Prioritize low-cost aluminum alloy type A, requiring a stable cold end temperature below 20℃. A magnetic mounting base is sufficient; excessively expensive configurations are unnecessary. Industrial electrical control cabinet heat dissipation and dust prevention: Select a dedicated chassis cooler model, requiring sufficient cooling volume to meet the cabinet's heat dissipation needs, while also supporting positive pressure dust prevention design. Stainless steel is the preferred material for improved rust resistance. High-temperature environment and high-temperature equipment protection: A full 3D cooling system is essential. 04 Stainless Steel T-type: Resistant to high temperature and high pressure conditions, with a temperature drop requirement of at least -50℃ to ensure normal equipment operation.

Laboratory ultra-low temperature cooling requirements: Prioritize the G-type ultra-low temperature model, with a temperature drop of -55~-70℃, meeting low-temperature experimental requirements.

Small to medium batch sample cooling and electronic component testing heat dissipation: Choose the M-type cooling capacity model, focusing on cooling output rather than extreme low temperature, offering better cost performance.

2. Core technical parameter compatibility: Three key parameters must match.

Temperature drop capacity matching requirements:

If only cooling from room temperature to below room temperature (normal heat dissipation): Choose the M-type cooling capacity model, with a temperature drop of -40~-45℃.

Requires cooling to below 0℃: Choose the C-type low temperature model, with a temperature drop of -50~-55℃.

Extreme ultra-low temperature requirements: The G-type ultra-low temperature model is mandatory, with a temperature drop of -70℃. Matching Operating Pressure to Air Source Conditions: The cooling effect of a vortex air cooler depends on the compressed air pressure. The selected model must match the existing air source pressure: For normal operating conditions, 0.5~0.7MPa is suitable; most factory compressed air can be directly adapted. For high-temperature and high-pressure special scenarios, a full stainless steel model with a rated pressure of 1MPa or higher must be selected to avoid safety risks.

Note: Pressure fluctuations exceeding 10% can cause uncontrolled air temperature. If the air source is unstable, it is recommended to use a pressure regulating valve. Matching Cooling Capacity to Heat Load: First, estimate the total heat load of the target heat dissipation, then select the corresponding cooling capacity model: Small-power heat dissipation (e.g., single electronic components, small cutting tools): 34~500Kcal/H is sufficient. Medium-sized heat dissipation (e.g., small to medium-sized electrical control cabinets, medium-sized molds): Select 500~1000Kcal/H. Large-scale heat dissipation... Requirements: 1000Kcal/H or higher, up to 1510Kcal/H

3. Environmental and Material Compatibility: Avoid incorrect selection affecting lifespan

Material selection mainly depends on the temperature, humidity, and corrosiveness of the working environment:

Normal temperature, dry, general environment: Type A aluminum alloy is sufficient, offering the lowest cost and meeting the requirements.

Normal temperature with slight corrosion, humid environment: Type S stainless steel base is recommended, offering better value than all-stainless steel and stronger corrosion resistance.

High temperature, high pressure, and strong corrosion environment: Type T 304 stainless steel is mandatory, capable of withstanding hot-end temperatures above 110℃, with a corrosion resistance lifespan more than 3 times that of aluminum alloy.

High humidity environment (relative humidity > 60%): A three-stage air handling system is required: pre-filter + adsorption dryer + post-temperature control; otherwise, frost and ice buildup at the cold end can easily clog the nozzles.
