How Long After Cleaning can a Countertop Flake Ice Machine be Used Again?

1. Routine Simple Wiping and Cleaning:

Wipe only the exterior of the machine and the ice storage area. After drying, let it stand for 10-15 minutes to ensure there is no residual water before starting the machine for normal ice making.

2. Deep Water System/Full Machine Cleaning and Disinfection:

After rinsing and disinfecting the entire machine, run 1-2 complete ice-making cycles. Discard the first two batches of ice produced. After confirming there is no residual cleaning agent in the water system, it can be used normally. The entire process takes approximately 30-60 minutes.

3. Special Scenario Precautions:

If the ambient temperature is below 10℃ after cleaning, preheat the machine for 3-5 hours before starting ice making to avoid damaging the compressor due to low temperatures.
